Stoff Studios was founded in 2015 by Carys Briggs, a textile designer who trained at both the Royal College of Art and Central St Martins. They produce all their pieces in a river-side studio in Woolwich. It’s a part of London that has a wealth of resources and a great community of makers. Using traditional methods to create refined, intimate collections of textiles and home-wares. The fabric pieces are inspired by gestural mark making and mono printing techniques, often translated into silk screen prints. Stoff Studios aim to produce thoughtful collections led by curiosity and  enthusiasm for making, to create a more studied, detailed response to initial inspirations.
