Margaret Ashman

Margaret Ashman lives and works from her studio in London. She is an experienced printmaker specialising in photo etching. Her work with dancers has led to ethereal images capturing fleeting moments and spontaneous bodily gesture. Margarets work continues her exploration of the human condition – solitude, inner searching and longing.  Her carefully constructed images are composed from her own photography and borrowed elements from fabrics, garments, wallpaper, or books with an oriental influence.
