What inspires your work as an artist?
I’m inspired by everything around me; I’m always seeing shapes and colours in everyday objects that give me ideas but I’ve always had an interested in biophilia and nature in general.
Who are your biggest influences?
I wouldn’t say there is anyone in particular but people who always follow their dreams and strive to succeed in them. I really admire the work of James Jean and Cy Twombly, however.
What does your work mean to you?
I know it sounds cliché but everything. I couldn’t not be an artist, it’s all I’ve ever wanted to be.
What techniques do you use?
My work is very much mixed media. I use mediums such as drawing and painting in acrylic, scanning these in to combine with digital methods in Photoshop. I also hand finish some prints with metallic leafs.
